    OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

    Carkhuff was responsible for three touchdowns to help Davidson post a 28-27 PFL victory in overtime at Valparaiso, Saturday. He rushed for two touchdowns which helped tie the game at 14-14 and 21-21 in regulation. In overtime, he completed both his pass attempts including a two-yard pass to Lanny Funsten that tied the game 27-27 and set up the game-winning PAT. Carkhuff finished the game completing 37-of-56 passes for 395 yards, the bulk of the Wildcats’ 512-yard offensive output.

    DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

    Sebetic wins his second consecutive PFL weekly award after his game-saving interception allowed Dayton to end its season with a 21-17 PFL victory at Marist, Saturday. His interception ended Marist’s final drive at midfield, as he wrestled the ball away from a Marist receiver. Sebetic  was responsible for defending Marist wideout Michael Rios, the PFL’s leading receiver in league play, and held him to three catches for 24 yards when defending him directly. Sebetic also was credited with two tackles and one pass breakup.

    Schick’s overtime PAT completed a 4-for-4 effort on PATs and provided the game-winning point in Davidson’s 28-27 PFL overtime victory at Valparaiso, Saturday. He also was responsible for kickoff duties and averaged 65 yards on his four kickoffs with one touchback. Schick has converted 16-of-17 PATs in PFL play, including 15 consecutive conversions.

    Wood averaged a PFL season single-game best 48.9 yards per punt to help Valparaiso keep Davidson pinned in regulation of a 28-27 PFL overtime loss, Saturday. Davidson started inside its own 25-yard line on all eight of Wood’s punts, including inside the 20-yard line five times. Wood had punts of 64 and 63 yards that were part of four punts that went for 50-plus yards.
